Financial Donations
Shepeard Community Blood Center is a nonprofit corporation funded primarily by processing fees paid by the hospitals it serves.
Fees do not cover all of the vital operational needs of Shepeard Community Blood Center, we rely on gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations to fund capital expenditures such as vehicles, equipment and collection automation.
Shepeard Community Blood Center welcomes memorial gifts and gifts honoring the living. If you would like additional information, please call Maurice Clemmons at 706.854.1582.
Memorials and Tributes
You can remember a loved one through a memorial gift or honor someone special for their birthday, anniversary or other special occasion by supporting your community blood center. Shepeard will notify your family or friends of your generosity and your gift will be fully tax deductible.
Matching Gifts
Many employers in the area match the financial contributions of their employees. A matching gift can double or triple your gift to Shepeard Community Blood Center. To determine if your employer matches gifts, consult your Human Resources Department.
Gifts in Kind
Gifts of goods and services are also welcome. If you would like to discuss such a gift, please call 706.854.1582 and ask for Maurice Clemmons, Director of Business Operations.
