Financial Donations
Shepeard Community Blood Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local hospitals and patients by maintaining a safe and reliable blood supply across our region. We primarily receive funding through processing fees paid by the hospitals we serve, but these fees do not fully cover our essential operational needs. To continue providing lifesaving services, we depend on the generosity of corporations, foundations, and individuals who make financial donations.
Your monetary donation supports critical capital needs such as collection vehicles, advanced equipment, and automation technology that help us collect and deliver blood products efficiently and safely.

Memorials and Tributes

When you make your gift, Shepeard will notify the individual or their family of your generosity. Your donation is also fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Matching Gifts
Many employers in the area match the financial contributions of their employees. A matching gift can double or triple your gift to Shepeard Community Blood Center. To determine if your employer matches gifts, consult your Human Resources Department.
